Test CPU Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86 GHz , 3 GB of RAM and I 've got an AMD R9 290x

Hello , I have a question , I have a CPU Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86 GHz , 3 GB of RAM and I 've got an AMD R9 290x and I want to make a test , will it effect on the CPU or the graphic like damage or it's gonna be fine ?

u should have asked this before buying 290x. What is ur power supply model and brand?
Even if ur power supply is enough ur cpu will bottleneck 290x and i doubt it can even perform at half its potential. Ur cpu is outdated for games.
