I have been using a Buffalo Link Station Duo in RAID with 2 x 2TB Drives and have decided to upgrade to a ZyXEL NSA325- V2.

Can I simply remove the 2 x Drives from the Buffalo and insert in to the ZyXEL with no problem, or do I need to do anything else first?

You can't physically move the drives. Well, you could, but then the data would be unretrievable. (EDIT: unless it's RAID 1, perhaps?)

Believe it or not, RAID is not sufficiently standardized that one RAID controller can read sets of drives RAIDed by another type of controller. The best solutions involve extra drives. Either populate the ZyXEL with new drives, build your RAID set, and copy all the files from the old to the new, or copy everything to a backup drive in your PC, move the old drives to the ZyXEL machine, build a new volume, and copy the files over.

Some people have done what you want to directly. Personally, unless it was RAID 1 I have little confidence in the process.
