New build PC Still freezing sporadically after some troubleshooting

Hi Folks,

I have recently built a new PC to be used primarily for gaming. This is my first ever build and I have had a problem since the machine was built 10 days ago. First of all here is my part list:

I have also installed a Hitachi HDD and DVD writer from my old PC. I am running windows 8.1.

I keep getting sporadic freezes, this can be whilst playing a game or sometimes whilst just idling on windows desktop. I have never had the BSOD just whatever is happening at the time freezes and remains that way until i hold the power button for a hard reset. I have been trawling through posts of similar problems on this forum and others to look for help and solutions but so far nothing has stopped the freezing. I cant see what is triggering the freeze as it seems to happen randomly whilst I am doing different things.

The troubleshooting I have tried so far:

I have stress tested CPU with Prime95 torture test in blend mode for 1 hour and there was no freeze/crash
I have tested the GPU with Furmark for half an hour with no freeze/crash
I tested with Furmark and Prime95 at the same time for 30 mins with no crash/freeze
I have tested the memory with the memory test built into windows, the extended test for 5 passes which took 22 hours with no faults found
I have tested the memory with memtest86 for 33 passes which took 2 days with no faults found
Windows 8.1 was originally installed to the SSD so I thought maybe it was a problem with the SSD. I removed the SSD from the machine and re installed windows on to the Seagate HDD and the freezing persists.
I have performed several fresh installs of windows
I have updated the BIOS on the motherboard to the latest on MSI website
Installed all of the latest motherboard drivers from the MSI website
Installed latest video card drivers from AMD website

None of this has stopped the freezes from happening. I have kind of exhausted everything I can think of and all of the advice I have read from other posts so any advice or help is really welcome.

I have included the logs from mini tool box below, although this is after a recent install of Windows 8.1 so there has only been a few crashes since the install. One other thing that might be interesting is that who crashed shows no crash dump logs, mini tool box shows unexpected shut down errors, is that the shut down when I press the power button to reset?

This is my first build, I am semi tech savvy but I am lost now I don't know where to go so thank you to anyone who can take a look and I will really appreciate some advice.

Thanks for the reply. Im not sure if i understand exactly what you mean, but I am backing up to the cloud through windows 8.1 yes to onedrive now. I dont think my hard drive is encrypted I have not chosen to do this, if you can let me know how to check this I will and get back to you with a better answer?

If windows onedrive is not the cloud you mean then I dont think I am backing up to anywhere else. Also the first install of windows 8.1 I did I was not backing up to the cloud then and the freezes still happened :/

Please let me know if there is any better information I can provide.

Thanks for the reply. I will try that again but freezes have still happened before when there was no sync to the cloud.
