I am going to be building my very 1st PC sometime next month but before I go out and get all the parts I would like to get some tips, advice, recommendations. I have looked for parts for a while, but hearing what some of the expert builders will really help me out in the end. I plan on using this build to play games and some occasional school work here and there. Below I will leave the link to to all the parts I have chosen. I have not chosen a monitor, but if you could suggest one, that would be great.

What's your monitor budget?

If you are not going to overclock and you are not going to use the Integrated Graphics Processor (IGP) of the CPU, the Xeon suggested, is a good i7 alternative which will help with applications other than gaming.

A 5ms or less response IPS monitor is a good choice. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/acer-monitor-umvh6aa003. This is the sort of thing that I would use.
