Hi all,
I'm looking to buy a new monitor, to replace the one that came in an old AiO. I would like to either get a 120 Hz 1440p monitor or a low end 4k monitor. It would mostly be used for gaming and general use (web browsing word processing etc.). My budget is $400-600.

My current system is based off of an i7 4770K and a pair of R9 280Xs. I know I won't be able to max every game out at 4k with this system.

So far I have found a 4K monitor that looks interesting, the Asus PB287Q. Any ideas on this monitor or suggestions for others?

Thanks,

I wouldn't get a 4K monitor as your GPUs will kinda struggle to display stuff on it. Instead, i'd get the 1440p monitor for 450$:
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Monitor: BenQ GW2765HT 60Hz 27.0" Monitor ($449.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $449.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

For 10$ more, you can get this monitor with exceptionally high brightness:
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Monitor: Crossover 2763AMG 60Hz 27.0" Monitor ($459.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $459.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available...
