Hi guys, I would like to run 6 monitors on my desktop for multitasking purposes (and maybe gaming) but I'm not sure of the best way forward. I read up advice on using crossfire or usb adapters but I would like your personal opinion based on my rig.

GPU : EVGA GTX 780 ftw
PSU : 1000W EVGA PSU
Processor : i7-3770
RAM : 16GB
I have a custom water loop built in so heat wise it shouldn't overheat (I hope)

I currently have 3 monitors (HDMI, DVI-I, Active Displayport HDMI), and I would like to add on 3 more monitors. I do have additional hdmi and DVI slots on my motherboard (would those work?)

Can anyone advise me going forward? I'm aware that the GTX780 has support for up to 4 monitors I believe.

Thanks for your help guys!

Cheers,
Desmond

Assuming your motherboard has a spare 16c pci-e slot I would simple add a cheap 2nd video card like a gt 720 or 730(either will support 3 monitors). Gaming wise surround will only let you game on 3 and have a 4th as an accessory display.

Thanks for the reply buddy. Is there any way I can use the in-built graphics card on my motherboard for the 3 monitors?
