Hi! My sons AeroCool Strike X ST - PC burned up just couple minutes ago. The fire started from the hot swap harddisk slot.

What is the connection between the type of computer chassis you have and the fire? What leads you to believe the case caused the fire?

There are many things that could cause a fire in a PC, PSU, prominent among them, but I would not suspect a case to be the cause, but it isn't impossible.

OMG! Luckily anybody didn't hurt! It seems that it is material or planning failure of computer case's hot swap HDD slot. Because the fire started from there and it isn't the one and only case when it happened.

Here is the picture of the computer. One red arrow shows the place where the fire started and another red arrow shows the copper wirings without any isolation (it burned away). There has to been shortcut in connector or very near of it which overheated the wirings. Isolation of wirings will be damaged only(!) between PSU and the the point of shortcut because too high current. So the reason of the fire has to been in the case and its wirings which came with it already installed in the factory. It hasn't been the owners fault.
