for some reason when i turn the computer on it stays on for a few seconds then turns off without warning, but after a second try it runs perfectly fine and will run perfectly fine all day.. what could be causing this to happen? seems strange :/

system specs are:

ASUS z97-A
ASUS directCU2 gtx780ti
Cheftek 850W PSU 80+ bronze.
H100i watercooler
I7-4790k processor.

my bios is at the latest version so i dont think its that. i recently purchased new RAM.. the HyperX Beast 8gb sticks but i think if it was a problem with them it should be a recurring problem and not just fail after first boot up then remain fine all day?

did you recently change any bios settings, like voltage? If so try to change them back. also just try to boot with one stick of ram or try old ram stick.

when I had this problem if I unplugged the pc for a couple of minutes after shutting down, then plug it back in then the boot problem would reoccur.
