Hi , Im just at the tail end of upgrading my gpu from a GTX 650ti to a EVGA GTX 980 Superclocked ACX 2.0. I was wondering if my psu would be able to handle my current system specs.
CPU: Intel i7 4790 (stock)
GPU: GTX 980 SC ACX 2.0
MOBO: MSI z97 Gaming 5
Case: Zalman Z11 plus ( 5 fans)
2x HDDS
RAM: 2x4gb Gskill Ripjaws @1600mhz
550 psu ( Have no idea what the brand is , I'm assuming is fairly old , stole it from my old rig).
I know the minimum required for the card is a 500w psu , just wanting to know if its a safe gamble running that close to the minimum. Thanks Guys.

Unfortunately they didn't have evgas in stock for like 5 days and I wasn't about to wait that long for a psu so instead I opted for the Corsair CX 750 , I only bought this because apparently it is built better than the lower CX psu's which are listed as tier 3 on your list , so I am hoping that my psu hopefully falls somewhere in between tier 3 and 2. Thanks for the help.
