Recently used dnuke to clean off my HDD, I usually use this to install a new OS for used computers I refurbish, however after I restarted my computer and plugged in my hdd it lights up and I can hear it spin like normal but the computer doesn't recognize it or mount it. Any suggestions?
I really don't think it could have died so easily because its not even 2 years old, its a brand new 1TB thunderbolt HDD so not sure what the issue is though this is my first time swipping a HDD like that. Other forums were saying there are chances that if its a old drive on its last leg it could fry it but this hdd doesn't seemed fried.
Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using linux distro Ubuntu on this machine, I typed lsusb in the terminal and got back Bus 001 Device 009: ID 059f:1062 LaCie, Ltd
I know this HDD is perfectly fine it just won't mount.
I'm thinking LaCie requires Windows or MacOS for a first time run so when you wipe it like that I may have to plug it into a Windows distro in order for it to work.
Looking for a command that will get it to mount.
Didn't realize I created two accounts here.
