how do i overclock a amd athlon ii x4 750k?

Ok, i have amd overdrive but when i go the clock/voltage the clock segment is unchangeable and i don't know why.

Forget about AOD for now. Look in BIOS and see if you have the option to 1) increase the CPU clock multiplier and 2) increase the CPU vcore (CPU VID). If you do, then all you need to do is increase the multiplier one click at a time, re-boot, run something like Intel Burn Test for the default 10 pass run while watching core temps. If it passes with safe temps, repeat.

Eventually you will reach a point where IBT will fail. The OC is unstable. You can either back off to the last good multiplier and live with that, or go back in BIOS and increase the vcore about 0.05v at a time testing again for stability (while watching temps) between increases.
