Hello,

I recently purchased a ASRock Z97 Extreme4 from Newegg. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157503) There are mixed reviews about it being DOA or dying withing a month of use. I'd love to get some feedback from people who have the board that have been successful with it for more than 1 month. I'd like to ease my mind.

I have mine working and I overclocked the i5-4690k to 4.4Ghz with the BIOS today, my first day with it running. I turned off C3 and C6, everything else is normal I think. I plan on putting my 250GB SSD into the machine, but I'm not sure if I should hold off taking it from my 2500k machine yet. I fear the 4690k machine might have the ASRock motherboard die.

Feel free to offer your opinions.

Thanks,

T. W.

What cooling are you using? I trying to OC my 4690k on the z97 extreme4, right now with the Hyper 212 EVO! :)
