Best laptop for non-intense games? (ex. Minecraft, Indie games)

I am looking for a laptop that will play games such such as Minecraft or some indie games smoothly. I have a desktop for gaming and that is what I play most of my games on. I am just looking for a laptop that I can bring to my firends' houses when I want to play some games. Mainly Minecraft, but other games too such as some MMOs, Garry's Mod, Terraria, Nether, and so on. I don't want to stay under the $700 range if I have to. I want to be able to play these games cleanly too. My laptop right now has Intel HD integrated graphics, and even though I can play Minecraft on it, the slight lag and not being able to play on a good render distance on a good texture pack bugs me. SOme more intense games like Nether or Garry's Mod I do not mind playing on average settings. Also I do not care if it is WIndows 8 or 7, but I prefer 8.

I think most integrated GPUs can handle Minecraft and most indies...

I don't think you need a crazy GPU, however they will run more smoothly with one.
