I currently have these RAM:
HyperX 12GB (3 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104127

They've been serving me good and I havent had any issues with them.
I work with a lot of heavy graphic files and often have atleast 3 different Adobe programs open at the same time and with all of that i've almost been pushing to the limit of the 12GB.

My initial thought is: 16GB (or more??) - if possible "better" than the above. Any suggestions?

My motherboard is the following:
ASUS P6X58D Premium, X58, Socket-1366 DDR3,
ATX, 2xSATA 6Gb/s, USB3.0, Firewire, 2xGbLAN, 3xPCI-Ex(2.0)x16

For price and value, I'd stick with installing additional modules that match the modules you currently have. The board doesn't support 1866mhz modules, apparently, and the faster modules it does support won't make enough of a noticeable difference to be worth having to buy them ALL new, since they will have different latencies than the ones you currently have and won't play well together. I'd just add more like you have now.

If you add one more, you'll have 16GB in dual channel. If you add three more you'll have 24GB in triple channel.
