Asus VG278HE enabling 3D - alternative to 3D Vision 2 Kit

Hi all,

I recently purchased Asus VG278HE monitor.
Is there a way to use the 3d technology besides buying Nvidia's 3dD Vision 2 Kit.
I mean like different pair of glasses or emitter.
Is the emitter of 1st Nvidia's Kit the same as 2.
Must i buy the original Nvidia products or is there an alternative?

Yes only the nvidia 3d vision kit 2 will work it also states that on Asus site: http://www.asus.com/Monitors_Projectors/VG278HE/
