Hi,

I bought few weeks ago a new BenQ 144hz Gaming monitor 1920x1080.
So played few games like counter strike go its amazing smooth.
But on battlefield 4 i cant get over the 70-80 fps on ultra to notiche it for smoother gameplay.
My eyes dont accept 60 fps anymore they need to see higher its very diffecul to explain it.
I'm searching now for a better gpu like a 970 or 980.
I gonna play GTA 5 too on pc on max setings is a single gtx 970 enough or better a 980 ?
But i dont wanna upgrade over a year for a new gpu...

Thanks.
(sorry for bad engelish)

A 970 is about 35% or so faster. It's up to you whether or not the FPS difference is worth the upgrade.

You aren't going to get 144 FPS in most games with a single card. A 970 will get you over 100 FPS in BF4, with around 90 - 100 FPS as average. A 980 will you give you around 10 FPS or so more, which isn't worth the extra ~$250, IMO.

If you want 144 FPS, you are going to need two cards or you will have to wait for a more powerful card.

We can't know what it will take to max GTA V. You will need to wait until Rockstar releases the requirements or the game.

Want higher FPS, don't play on Ultra. At least then you can get the highest framerate making a 144hz monitor worthwhile if it's a first person shooter, speed would be more important than pretty.
