New monitor advice needed

Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade my monitor after my most recent one was broken. It will primarily be used for gaming so an ips panel is not required, i would like it to be either 27 or 24 inches(ideally 27 but i heard that 1080p 27 inches doesn't look that great for gaming) but do not really care about the 3d aspect as i would prefer to game in 2d.

My budget would ideally be anything under £300 but i'm willing to spend more if there is no other alternative
