Hi.. I have selected asus nvidia gtx 760 graphic card(Link Below) for my first pc. But i want to know whether it is a good gpu. And is it futureproof for next 2 to 3 yrs...???

I have only one monitor . So my resolution will be max 1080p. (1920 x 1080).

Will future games work on my gpu or u suggest any other gpu..??

Thanks in advance :)

Its a midrange GPU and no its not futureproof there are many games now you cannot play at ultra settings with gtx 760 at 1080p so after 1-2 years i would say the maximum the card can handle would be medium graphic settings if you have not already bought the card i would recommend to wait for the gtx 960 which is going to release in Q1 2015 its performance is measured somewhere between gtx 770 and gtx 780 and it would cost around 22,000/- to 25,000/-.

I currently have a Sapphire 7950 3gb, and it runs Watch Dogs, Shadow of Mordor, Alien Isolation, Ryse: Son of Rome completely maxed out, and it is equivalent to your card. One thing you should note is that I have overclocked it and am also running a i5 2500k at 4.5ghz, although that shouldn't make a difference. If I were you I would try to get a 770 3gb, that would be ideal for the next year or two.

In all honesty I would actually recommend the card I currently have over the 760ti simply because of the overclocking capability, or even better a 7970, they generally give better bang for buck if that is your concern.
