Will the Thinkpad USB 3.0 Dock allow me to have dual external monitors?

Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E335 laptop and I wish to set this up with a dual external monitor setup for my desk. Through some research I've found that the Thinkpa USB 3.0 Dock should do the job, however I'm not sure if this will allow me to operate the two external monitors while the laptop itslef is closed?

The dock is supposed to support two external monitors but I'm not sure if this is when the laptop is closed as well?

Yes it will work, i did a bit of researh and it supports 2 external monitors, but you need to plug them using dvi cables! Not sure what exactly is your issue but let me know.
