I recently purchased a Dell P2014H monitor to use vertically in addition to my primary external monitor and laptop screen. I have one monitor connected to the DVI port and the other to HDMI using a DVI to HDMI converter. Each monitor works fine when the other is not connected, but when I attempt to extend the desktop to the 2nd external monitor via display settings the "Disconnect this display" option continuously reverts back after every attempt to enable to monitor.

Does anyone have any insight as to how I could fix this? Is this possible on the 660M? Thanks so much.

Solution
I had a Dell laptop - it would support 2 monitors at a time (VGA, DVI, HDMI built-in LCD) To get 2 external monitors to work, I had to turn the computer on, switch to only a single external monitor, close the lid, then add the 2nd monitor when it was booted up. Everything worked fine until I opened the lid and had to reconfigure again.
