"Out of all the specs, below I have listed only the ones that differ:

Monitor: VS248H-P vs VS247H-P
Screen Size:24 INCHES vs 23.6 INCHES
Pixel Pitch: 0.2768mm vs 0.272 mm
Brightness: 250 cd/m2 vs 300 cd/m2
Backlight Technology: Edge-lit LED vs Full-array LED
Vertical Refresh Rate: 76 Hz vs 75Hz
Horizontal Refresh Rate: 83kHz vs 80 kHz
Dimensions: 16.23"x22.57"x 8.09" vs 16.17"x22.12"x7.87"
Weight: 9.04lbs vs 9.7 lbs"

so the main difference is the Brightness. The backlight technology is not listed under the specs anymore, so I'm not sure if there's a difference there -- I would lean towards no.

I own the 23.6" and it's a good monitor, the stand for it is quite wobbly however. Looks like both of these monitors use the same stand too... it can get annoying -- I am thinking about an aftermarket mount for it ($$$ for a good one though). It's not so bad that the monitor is going to tip over, but it does bounce around a bit
