Second Monitor Locked to 1024x768 Resolution -Help!

Hello,

I've recently been able to connect my second monitor to my PC again, but when connecting via HDMI the monitor becomes stuck at 1024x768 resolution. The monitor itself is 1920x1080.

The monitor worked in the past fine with the same PC, the only change would be Windows 8.1 but I can't see why this would effect it. As you can see it is now named Generic Non-PnP Monitor, whereas before it has a name. Any help is much appreciated!

Bump, this is really weird considering it worked before upgrading OS? Any driver suggestion, I've installed latest GPU drivers...

SOLVED: I had to find the disk which came with my GPU, I then used this to downgrade my driver to one from 2012. Doing this allowed me to change resolution settings in nVidia Control Panel (originally weren't there), then applied.
