Radeon r9 270x Graphics Card - 2 Monitors

My PC has a Radeon r9 270x and I cant figure out how to add 2 monitors. The VGA and DVI dont work because the graphics card is installed below it. I currently have one hooked up to an HDMI port and for some reason this port wont work: http://gyazo.com/a164fef5eb618d7dc2aeff4bd93b26f5 Any Help?

What do you mean "the graphics card is installed below it" ? Both your screens should be plugged into the graphics card

I dont know i had someone build it for me i do know vga and dvi ports dont work

use the top DVI port of the R9 270x for your primary monitor. Add another monitor with HDMI cable. Catalyst Control Center will be opening as soon as you plug the second monitor. Good luck!
