Widescreen monitor for around $100-$150?

Right now I'm using a 19" by 19" monitor running at 1280x1024. I would love to upgrade however, I'm not sure which brand/refresh rate/ Hz rating or anything is good. I would like something with decent height, but yet it's still a widescreen.

Depends on what you want the monitor for.
Video/Photo Editing--> Something with IPS screen would be best.
Gaming--> Monitor with High Refresh rates alteast above 60Hz.

I do a tad bit of editing, more so gaming though.

Get this--> Acer H236HLbid 60Hz
Some 75Hz monitors are there in that price range but they are just not worth it.
So, going 60Hz IPS screen would be a better choice.
