Asus VG248QE and AverMedia Live Gamer HD
I just got the AverMedia Live Gamer HD for streaming. I am attempting to use it with my Asus 144hz monitor. For some reason the HDMI pass-through does not work on my monitor, however if I use a DVI adapter then it does work. I don't understand why this is? If I connect my Xbox One directly to my monitor via HDMI then it works. Does anyone know why this is?

That is the solution I came to even though the monitor can be set at lower fresh rates (60Hz). It still won't work. Not sure why that is.
I have this exact same issue and have been looking to resolve it for over 3 weeks now. I have contacted Avermedia, same "144hz" response which wasn't a resolution at all. Were any of you able to resolve this issue? The only temp fix I was able to get was to unplug power from the monitor and back in, THEN it will display through the capture card. That can't be the only fix though?
