Hello guys, I've been having a bit of an issue. I just built my first rig a few months ago and it's been crashing a lot. But here recently I downloaded metro 2033, and assassin's creed unity. Everytime I try to launch the game my monitor loses signal, shuts off, and then my pc crashes and resets. This not only happens whIle launching some games, but happens at random. I don't understand, I can play bf4, dayz sa, and CS go on high settings with great frame rate + more. Why's it giving me this trouble and how should I go about fixing? Ive reinstalled amd catalyst drivers ran ccleaner for registry errors. Nothing seems to be working. Any help is appreciated, sorry I'm a noob guys. XD

Solution
I ended up replacing my graphics card, it has been working for about an hour now.. if you end up having this problem try replacing your gpu! I'll reply if the problem occurs again.

Never apologize for this kind of stuff, not everyone's a Guru :) So..usually when your monitor looses signal, it's due to the monitor not being able to display a certain Hertz rating, try lowering your refresh rate down, see if this helps.

but my computer always shuts down seconds after the monitor loses signal, is that the cause? and if so how would i go about lowering the refresh rate? somewhere in the monitor settings? thanks!

Right-click the desktop, choose screen resolution, then choose advanced settings, then click monitor. Default refresh rate is 60hertz, the higher the refresh rate the faster pictures get drawn on the screen, lower this rate. For instance if it's 85hrtz, try 80hertz, or 75, or maybe just try 60hrtz and see if problem reoccurs.
