Hi,

Just finished my first build and looking at getting a new monitor. Wondering if anyone has any experience with ASUS VE247H ? And if it is any good for gaming or if anyone can suggest a better but similarly priced monitor.

If it helps added a breakdown of my build.

A decent gaming monitor.

Though your build below is a little unbalanced.

I would reconfigure for GPU if you are talking gaming as the primary purpose.

Did think about the 6300, but was leaning more towards the 8320. Off topic but is the 270x worth the extra money ?

(Edited as I was being an idiot and its been a long day)

Well, 400 is a pretty tight budget. I don't think you can do much better then a 270X without sacrificing something else. Should be about 20% faster then the 265. Only 4 steps from the top AMD single GPU.

Intel build with an r9-280, save up money for a replacement processor later on (Drop a Broadwell chip in there when they come out)
