Having trouble because i see a 27" monitor at 1440p, but then it has a slow response time of 6ms. I want to use it for gaming. But then i also look at 27" monitors that have refresh rates of 120hz instead of 60hz, and they are really expensive.

My questions boil down to these, pretty much:
Is 27" worth it over a 24" screen size?
Is 120Hz refresh rate worth is over a 60Hz?
Is 6 ms too slow a response time for gaming?

Here are the answers to the questions in the sticky:
1. What Is Your Country Of Origin?
USA

2. What do you plan to do with this monitor? (ex. Games, Movie Watching, Photo Editing, etc.)
Gaming

3. What resolution and screen size do you want?
1440p. Atleast 24" screen size. This is the hard part... i was set on a 27" screen, at 1440p, but the ones that have low response time are really expensive.

4. What refresh rate do you want? (ex. 60 hz , 70 hz.)
60 or 120 Hz

5. How much are you looking to spend?
$300 to $400

6. Brands Preferred (ex. Samsung, Acer, Asus, AOC, HP, Viewsonic, etc. )
None preferred.

7. Brands Not Preferred (state reason why)
I can't think of any

8. Are You Buying More Than One Monitor?
Just buying 1.

9. How Many Displays Can Your GPU Support Maximum? And what GPU and driver version are you using if applicable?
I think it can support 2 monitors.

10. What Port Do You Want To Connect To (ex. DVI-D, HDMI, etc).
I don't know

11. Is This Monitor A Primary Display Or A Secondary Display?
Primary monitor

12. Is This A Secondary Display For A Laptop?
No.
