This link shows the build that I have prepared so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/btrLf7
I have some questions with this build:
- Do any of you know if the RAM clearance between the RAM and the CPU cooler is alright?
- Is the mother board good at it's price for gaming and video editing?
- Also is the SSD I have chosen large enough to store the operating system on?
- Also for a first time builder is this a hard compatibility issue to fix? "Some Intel Z87 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Haswell Refresh CPUs."

Most of the parts I intend to buy from amazon, are there parts that are better than what I have choose and of a similar price? I am trying to keep the PC to about 1-1.2k GBP
Thank you, all comments are greatly appreciated!

A bit more but you get:

- Better PSU and case
- GTX 970
- Way better SSD with more capacity
- Dropped the thermal compound (unnecessary on any budget)
