Hello everyone, I'm here for a little advice.

I have a client who wants to connect 2 monitors to his computer. The video card that is installed has 3 connections:

VGA
DVI-D
HDMI

Both monitors also have 3 connections:
VGA
DVI-D
Display port

What would be the ideal configuration for best results?

(1) connect both monitors with a DVI-D splitter?

(2) Monitor 1 = DVI-D & Monitor 2 = DVI-D to HDMI converter?

(3) Monitor 1 = DVI-D & Monitor 2 = DVI-D to Display port?

(4) Monitor 1 = DVI-D & Monitor 2 = VGA

Thanks for the help

Solution
the best would be DVI for one connection, then HDMI to DVI adapter or cable for the 2nd monitor.

You could do DP to DVI but i have no experience using those.

I personally used a dvi to hdmi cable for one of my monitors for a long time with no issues.
