Do I need a laptop for college?

Hey guys, I'm calling out to all the college veterans out there. Particularly those who are currently in college and those who have graduated within the last few years.

So if you check my completed build, I have a pretty beast rig for my dorm if I do say so myself haha. My question is, having no experience in a university-style classroom, would it be wise purchasing a laptop/2-in-1/tablet for the classroom? I believe I'm going to be using physical books over e-books, since all my courses of course don't support e-books (my luck), but I'm just curious if it would be worth bringing a PC to each class. Yes a laptop is highly needed in college. Check your college for laptop requirements. If you are engineering you will need a graphics card on it otherwise you can get a cheap one with a good battery and it will work great.
