Current Internet Service Provider

I have Time Warner Cable. Not too satisfied, they overcharge unless you go in the shop and ask for a lower monthly cost. Turns out we were paying an extra $50 a month than needed. Their top Internet speeds in my area are not the best, perticularly upload speeds. I get 30Mb down and 5 up.

You are lucky I get here if possible 1.56 Mbps and upload 29 which is pathetic to say the least.

Your upload is 20x your download? You may want to check those numbers.

I pay for 100/50 from Snap in NZ, and get about 90% of that. I believe that those speeds are set at Layer 2 while speedtest is up at layer 3 or 4, hence the measurement disparities.

While you guys fast connections, our country is a disgrace when it comes to ISP Internet speed with a average speed of 4Mbps and 0.7Mbps upload.... When will UK upgrade their internet connection...

I would have done the test with ethernet connection. For now, my connection is restricted by the wireless standard I use.
But i'm not complaining.
It should looks like 17Mbps and 1Mbps upload.
And it costs me 45€/month (which include the cost of my cell phone, unlimited use of data)

I am in Australia and I pay for a lot for cable internet. I first got it last year and I was nearly "guaranteed" 80-100MB/s down and how every many up. I realized the internet was slow recently, but never took a test. Just looked at the forum, and decided to have a test. A trip to Telstra tomorrow....
