ok, i have gone ahead and installed a tablet into my car. its very basic. mounted the tablet into the double din head unit space. ran an aux to the head unit, which is hidden under the seat. and ran power from a cigarette lighter etc.
the problem im having is, when i turn on the car, the tablet will charge and you can use it, its fine. but when i turn the car off and leave it off for a while it runs out of power and it turns off.
you might be wondering why i dont just turn it back on? i cant due to the power and volume buttons being covered by the dash. meaning when it runs out of power i have to take my dash apart (i dont really want to cut my dash either)
so the question is. is there someway of turning my tablet on and off with the ignition? or someother way that would work?
