I have a 22" LG HDTV that I am using as a third monitor. I connect it to my laptop via Triton hardware into which I plug a VGA cable, and which connects to a USB port on my laptop.
When I watch streaming video full screen (e.g., MLB.TV, WatchESPN, etc.), the motion is herky jerky. When I reduce the screen size, the motion smooths out. I would like to get rid of the herky-jerkiness when I go to full screen and have smooth video, as close to a TV watching experience as possible.
I have tried to fix this by going into Windows screen resolution, but the refresh rate there is fixed at 60mhz. I went into NVIDIA control panel, but this does not provide refresh rate options for any of my three screens (including the native screen and the monitor connected directly via VGA).
Is there any way this can be fixed? Thanks for your help!
