Looking for a GPU upgrade that will run 3 monitors.

Ok, here are my specs right now for my current PC.

I want a GPU upgrade so i can run 3 monitors.
*NOTE* I plan on gaming on only ONE monitor and the others for multi monitor use.

And I will be picking up 2 more monitors.
What GPU would you suggest i get?

I was looking at the GTX 970 or 980
I'm new to all this so it I would appreciate it if you could help me out

(also, what extra monitors would be nice to have, i like bigger screens like 27" <
also, would it be possible to go above 1920x1080?)

Planning to only game on one?! Why would you do such a thing?

To the point, get a gtx 970/ r9 290x. The gtx 970 is the better choice but a cheap r9 290x may be found for cheap unlike the 970. If you went tripple or greater than 1080p for gaming, I would do the gtx 980.

Last, make sure you have at least one display port for your 3 monitor setup. You cannot have 3 HDMI/VGA/DVI monitors. At least one needs to be display port.

Easy. If you can afford it, the GTX 980 is the best single GPU on the market. It has 3 monitor support and will serve you well.

Well i don't think i would enjoy playing League or some other games on 3 monitors, I am not a big FPS player so it would serve no purpose to play on 3 monitors.

I will go with the GTX 980 as someone suggest before.
