GTX 660 TI SLI or Single GTX780 770TI for Ultrawide Monitor

My current GPU is GTX660TI and I am wondering going SLI is good idea or not. The purpose is mostly gaming and movies. Which one should I go?

1. GTX660TI SLI
2. single 770TI or 780

So, Single GTX970 will outperform 660ti sli for ultrawide monitor?

Yes it will, GTX 660ti SLI performs in the 770/780 range. The 970 performs a bit better than that.
Plus it's a single highend card, which is better than two midrange cards in SLI.
