Hello! I am currently looking for a 1080p monitor that can run at 75Hz. Currently i am using a 1280x1024 75Hz monitor and i cannot go back to 60Hz. I found something like this: http://www.lg.com/uk/monitors/lg-23MP75HM , but some people say it cannot go more than 60Hz. I would use it mainly for gaming and watching movies. So, is there any IPS monitor that can use 75Hz?
BTW, IPS panels have better colours?

Hi there
Yes, the colour production on IPS panels are superior to TN panels.
You are, however, comparing 2 different monitor technologies. (I am assuming your old on is still CRT).
LCD's do not run at anything other than 60Hz (or multiplies thereof) by design.
I understand your reasoning for wanting 75Hz (to reduce screen flicker) but this no longer applies when using an LCD screen - there is no flicker.
Believe me, I also could not stand 60Hz on CRT - it made my head hurt.

The current one i have is an LCD. It's not about flickering, it's simply the fact that i got used to 75Hz so i can't go back to 60. I tried playing at 60Hz but the difference is very high although some ppl say there is no difference. So i'm stuck in a very difficult place, i don't have money for a 120hz TN panel only for a 75Hz TN panel or a 60HZ IPS panel. Getting the TN would feel like i lost quality and getting the IPS would feel like i lost performance. Anyway, thx for the answer!
