Basically the title says it all. I am building my first rig that will be used for 3d rendering, gaming and everyday work. I have all of the pieces I think that will be compatible.
I would like any suggestions on the parts I have chosen. I want the computer to be upgradable(More ram, possible another graphics card or two, and a SD hard drive) and do not want my power supply to hinder these upgrades later down the road.
My current list is:
i7-5820k haswell-e $399
Asus rampage V X99 $450
G.skill ripjaws 4- 4x4gb DDR4 2666- $250
MSI R9 280x 6gb $265
Samsung 850 pro 256gb ssd $150
Cooler Master HAF-x $170
Corsair HX1050 1050W $170

Again that you guys for any help!

you'll only be able to do 2 way SLI / crossfire with optimum usage - you're CPU limits you to 28 PCI lines - so you won't be able to fit 3
though I seriously question the r9 270X for gaming - that isn't going to accomplish much at all.
but the rest of it seems solid

Thanks for the reply! How is the power supply? and if down the road I want to make it possible to have 3 way or 4way sli/crossfire would it be possible with a different cpu?
Also I will edit it but my card will most likely be the MSI R9 280x 6gb. Will hat help any?
Any other suggestion are more than welcome!

I don't know much about the hx 1050 - but it in the same price point you can get this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-platinum1200ss120 - which is a guarenteed quality unit
to get 4 way SLI you'll need a 5930k or 5960k
r9 280X will max most games at 60+ FPS. though if it were me i'd start with a 970. 970s are the sweet spot right now.
