BLOWN PSU! need a new one £45 budget

my psu started making clicking noises then my pc used to turn off after 5 minutes of gaming, it was a crappy alpine 700w on a budget build so i put my old 305w in for now. i need a psu for around £45 i buy from ebay so im looking for a good one. ive seen a cx500 for £43 and i plan to run a bigger card than my 6850 in the future (perhaps a 7970 or a 680)
could i run those cards on a cx500?
