Hello,

I am purchasing two [BenQ RL2455HM 60Hz 24.0" Monitor](http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/benq-monitor-rl2455hm) to use on 1 computer.

The motherboard and GPU I have are:

**Video Card** | [Sapphire Radeon R9 270 2GB Dual-X Video Card](http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/sapphire-video-card-100365l)

**Motherboard** | [Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 ATX AM3+ Motherboard](http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-ga990fxaud3)

I was wondering what cords and plugins I would need to accomplish this? And, where they would be plugged into.

Could they both be plugged into the GPU with HDMI?

Please help as I am a novice when it comes to computers

Thank you :)

Solution
Simplest is to plug them both into the discrete gpu.
The graphics card has only one hdmi output.
You may have to use a dvi connection for one monitor or a dvi to hdmi cable.

You configure an extended desktop in windows.
Right click on the desktop and select screen resolution.

Most monitors will include at least one or two proper cables. Check the pics on newegg.

Yea the graphics card should of came with a DVI to HDMI converter so. Also every HD TV has a HDMI and a bit of the gaming ones have DVI so really all you would need to be 100% safe is 2 DVI to HDMI converters and 2 HDMI cords (or 2 dvi to hdmi cords)
