Primary monitor goes to sleep after plugging in secondary monitor

Hi Tom's Hardware,

I recently installed my GTX 970 2x SLI. Whenever I try to connect my secondary monitor via HDMI cable, my primary monitor goes to sleep which is connected via DVI. I have tried connecting it to both of my graphics cards but no luck.

Also, my primary monitor works fine without the second one being plugged in. Any ideas of what the problem might be? ;c

Right click on your desktop, NVidia control panel, set up multiple displays, check both boxes
