For someone who is starting to learn Network Security,Where should he start,Which Courses or certificate should he get?I need help on from where to start.Any help and hint .College Degree or Certs.
Who do you think you would work for? Many employers would require the college degree anyway. You will need strong written language skills, because one of the things you have to do is write documentation of how a system was secured.
Maybe your definition of network security and mine are different. I was interpreting this as a person that works to secure networks and devices. As such, strong written communication skills are necessary because you have to clearly document what was done to secure the assets. This would include procedures and test checklists. Maybe you want to look at the http://www.giac.org/certifications/get-certified/roadmap or https://www.isc2.org/cissp/default.aspx for certifications.
