I'd like to run 3 EVGA GTX 980 SC cards in 3 way SLI connected to a triple monitor setup with 3 ASUS VG248QE monitors. Will this work? Possible to connect one monitor to each card via DVI dual link cable? Can all three run at 144Hz? Thank you in advance!

Solution

you may connect DisplayPort or DVI-Dual Link to each video cards hence connect 3 DVI to 3 video card.

I think the problem is that there is only one dual link dvi, therefore you will need to connect other 2 of your monitor via displayport.

I'm also running all my 3 display via dp port on my primary card. I'm not having had any problem so far. (MSI 980 oc x2)
