SSD Intel 530 480GB or Samsung 840 EVO 1TB

My system is currently running with a 250GB Intel SSD and I want to add more storage. New Egg currently has the Intel 530 480GB drive for $239.99 or the Samsung 840 EVO 1TB drive for $359.95

Big size difference. How much do you need? I personally love the 840 line- tops the list of SSD performance, except for the 850 line...but that only makes the 840 more of a value. I have two of the 512M 840s (one for system and one for gaming) and am obviously satisfied. I don't think Intel is a bad product, but if price is close, I'd lean to Samsung, since they consistently make the top of the list on performance reviews. If you're looking for best value, though, I think Crucial SSDs top those lists consistently.

I'm leaning toward buying the 1TB EVO. I would transfer my OS and everything else to it.
