Can a 1366x768 monitor handle an R9 270 graphics card?

so i bought a new r9 270 Turboduo graphics card and when im playing nba 2k15 it stutters alot. Though it worked fine when i still had my old radeon hd 7730 on. here's my build.

Asus A55bm-e
AMD a-10 5800k
8gb ram (2 4gb hyperX fury 1666ghz)
aerocool strike x 600 MOD
1366x768 monitor
powercolor r9 270 turboduo (my past g.c was a radeon hd 7730)

please i really raeally need help about this! thanks in advance!

Stuttering and other in-game glitches have nothing to do with the monitor.

If only 1 game has stuttering issues... then it's obviously that game. Most likely culprit is a bad console game port by the software studio, & can only be fixed by a patch (either that same studio or AMD).
