Electrician into Computer Techination

I am almost done high school and I was looking at some careers I was thinking of becoming an electrician and make some serious cash in Alberta Canada but I wanted to then transition into a computer technician job but I don't know if you have to go to for that and also is that even a wise choice

I need your opinions!!

You need different skills for the two trades. Since electricians learn in a more hands-on, mentored way, it takes time to progress. To become an electrician, you need to invest years of work.
Computer technicians, work alone most of the time. You need to be much more self-reliant. You will be expected to be productive on your own from day one.
