so basically, since christmas is coming, I have decided i'd like to build a new PC.. my old PC has done me well, and even today...when with its old 560 ti GTX card.. it still runs quite a good few games on ultra... but now I am at the time where newer games are starting to out do my card.. can still play them on lower settings. so basically here's my old system

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti

motherboard: asus pro p8p67

power supply 750 W

My hard drives are basically brand new only had them for few months, so not even a year old yet, so I wont be looking for new hard drives, basically looking for a better motherboard.... graphics card etc, don't really have a budget, I mean I could spend £1000 if I really wanted too, so money isn't possible, but cheaper the better, and this PC will be for gaming.

GTX 980
i7 4790K
Asus Maximus Hero VII Z97

You could get those for under £1000, the 980 is the fastest single GPU on the planet right now, and the 4790k is a monster CPU and the Maximus Hero Vii is a very sleek mobo with nice features.

If you dont want to spend too much, get the 2600k which is still on par with the latest and greatest in gaming and SLI 2 gtx970's and you'd get better performance than getting the 4790k and single gtx 980. :)
If you want to spend more then get a z97 mobo and a 4790k and dual 970's. :)
I reccomend getting the 2600k as it is still a good cpu :)
