So I have an i3 Ivy Bridge currently and was wondering if it's even worth spending another $150 buying a new motherboard for haswell and instead just buying a i5-3570k? The motherboard I have now is ASRock Z77 extreme 4.
I mean looking at the price between the two choices I have:
i5-3570k (+heatsink) = ~$260
i5-4690k (+Mobo +heatsink) = ~$400
Worth the extra $150? I'm looking for better performance in CPU intensive games, my i3 is starting to show lack of performance.
