Is the BenQ RL2455HM 60hz or 75hz?

So when I bought this monitor it said it was 75hz in the specs. However when I look at the system info, it tells me that it's running at 60hz. Is there some setting I'm missing or do I need to overclock it or something to get the 75hz?

It can do 75Hz but it depends on the resolution setting. Lower res = higher refresh rate that's achievable.


Some 75Hz monitors can only reach that refresh rate when using D-Sub input which automatically drops the maximum resolution that's available.

Ohhh ic.. Do you think it's worth it to sacrifice the res for the extra 15 hz in a FPS game?

i have a rl2455hm too and i managed to overclock to 75HZ at 1080p no problem i think it still has a little more headroom but it depends on ur panel

is it able to overclock to more than 75hz at 1024x768?? I'm deciding to buy this monitor because it has 1ms response time and it's okay for me to play at 1024x768 res with 75hz, but it would be great to achieve more Hz

sorry to answer such an old thread, but my rl2455 hm is currently doing 75hz at 1080p.

The color, saturation, and or gamma changes with Hz increase tho (for this monitor) 60hz has more brightness and gamma, 75hz is quite a bit darker.

still works fine tho without hitch.
