Is this a good futureproof PC build?

Since I'm new to building PCs (previously I've just used pre-builts) can you guys see any glaring flaws in this build?

GPU: MSI GTX 980 GAMING 4G GeForce GTX 980

there is never a futureproof computer, or any other electronics. will it last you a few years? of course. maybe up to 5 years ish, maybe, kinda? depends on the needs of future tech/software, etc

I personally wouldn't pair a non overclock processor with a GTX 980 and a weak Corsair CX power supply. Also too much money being spent on operating system and storage. What is your budget?

Oh you can definitely do better than that on that budget, I would scrap that whole thing and do this:

The 980 is 11"/280mm long, I don't know if it will fit in that case and it looks like it would be a tight fit from the pics, if it fit at all. The case also cannot fit a tall aftermarket cooler, 144mm max, unless you remove the side fan. And it has horrible cable management based on reviews I've read.

OP, I would personally swap out the power supply for one manufactured by XFX or Seasonic as the Corsair CX series uses poor capacitors.
